| Report: | A good night of squash between Fal1 and TR3!
Up first was on-form Oscar against Daryl, stepping in from TR4. Daryl started the match off well and it looked like a battle of hard hitting, with some super backhands into the nick. But Oscar's relentless drives were too much in the end and took the match 3-0.
Next up was the match of the night/season. A ding-dong battle between two young players with different styles. The touch of Milan and hard hitting Lucas. Lucas has clearly been working hard over the summer as he's playing incredibly well, getting the Falmouth crowd off their feet a number of times with winner after winner. When Milan took game four, we thought he would go onto take the match, but Lucas didn't know when to give up and took the final game and the match!
Lewis seems to be even better that last time he played, and was too good for Jonny on the night. It would be great to see a match up between Lewis and Jarod at the county champs in 2026...
Unfortunately Truro only managed to field 3 players due to injuries and a wedding (congratulations TJ!). So FAL1 took the match 11-6. |
